The fact of the matter is, your weight does affect the health of your feet. For example, when you carry more weight than your body frame can naturally support, it puts excess pressure on your heart and lungs. But it also puts more strain on your legs, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.

A prime example of the effect of weight on your feet is your natural walking gait. When you are obese, it alters the way you walk. And, a change in your gait will follow eventually. This causes unnatural pressure on your feet, which in turn can cause other problems.
