Signs That It’s Time to See a Podiatry Specialist

If you experience certain symptoms on your feet, there are plenty of over the counter treatments you might try out. Fortunately, for most minor, common foot problems, OTCs are enough. However, there are other signs it’s time to see a podiatry specialist:

● If you have swelling and/or numbness in your feet, once every great while, that’s not abnormal. But it is a more serious problem if it occurs regularly or even intermittently.
● Painful bunions on your feet are more than uncomfortable, they can crowd your toes together. Eventually, the crowding will worsen and that’s when it is time to see a foot doctor.
● Thick corns and calluses on your feet can be unsightly and uncomfortable. Bt like bunions, can cause more problems.
● Feeling pain performing daily activities is not necessarily abnormal but feeling constant pain is something for concern.
● Heels that are cracked or bleed are a sure sign you need to see a podiatry specialist. These can be indications of more serious conditions.

Another sign you need to see a foot doctor is when you experience ingrown toenails, especially if it happen time and again.
