  • Ankle rolls. This very simple exercise works wonders. (Especially when done correctly.) Just sit down and extend your leg parallel to the floor. Then, perform ten clockwise circles and ten counterclockwise circles.
  • Ankle extension. Start the same way as above, raising your foot parallel to the floor. Then, point your toes out, slowly bringing them back toward you. Hold for five seconds.
  • Resisted ankle extension. Sit upright and extend your leg out. Place your heel on the floor, then point your toes upward. Place a resistance band on your foot and hold the other end near your waist. Stretch the band using your ankle and go back to the starting position.
