Arthritis and Foot Care

Foot care is an absolute must for those who suffer from arthritis. As you know, arthritis is pain in the joints, which can occur in the hands, knees, feet, and elsewhere. But, by with the right foot care, you can minimize the pain from arthritis:

  • ● Stay away from weight-bearing exercises. When you lift any type of object, it has weight and that can cause stress on your joints and feet. Avoid weight-bearing exercises or only do these in moderation.
  • ● Wear the right shoes when walking or exercising. It’s very important to wear the right shoes whenever you are active. The wrong shoes will cause discomfort and pain in your feet and ankles. Eventually, it will probably become persistent.
  • ● Do some Foot-stretching exercises on a daily basis. You already know exercise is a wonderful way to deal with many problems. So, do a few foot-stretching exercises every day.
  • ● See a foot doctor if you experience pain in your feet. If you do feel pain in your feet and/or in your ankles, you should see a foot doctor right away.
